Inimitable Romanee Wins Long Island Handicap at Aqueduct Racetrack

Las Vegas, NV - The $200,000 Grade 3 Long Island Handicap went down on the turf of Aqueduct on Saturday, November 9 - a 1 1/2 mile test for older fillies and mares. 28-1 shot Inimitable Romanee shocked the field by one length over fast-closing Tabreed who finished second and Left a Message who finished third. Strathnaver finished fourth followed by White Rose, the 8-5 favorite Aigue Marine and Shepperd's Pie. Morning line favorite Anjaz was a surprise scratch.
