Poshsky Wins Berkeley Handicap at Golden Gate Fields

Las Vegas, NV - Golden Gate Fields in Berkeley, California was the scene of the $100,00 Grade 3 Berkeley Handicap on Sunday, November 29 - a 1 1/16 mile turf test for race for older horses. Silver Ranch Stable and Wachtel Stable's third betting choice Poshsky came on late and emerged by a neck over longshot Pepper Crown who finished second and favored GG Ryder who got up for a somewhat disappointing third. Tamarando, Outside Nashville, Ankeny Hill and Silentio completed the order of finish. Big Cazanova (ARG) who was 9-5 on the morning line and Majestic City scratched.
