Da Big Hoss Wins Elkhorn Stakes at Keeneland Racetrack

Keeneland Racetrack in Lexington, Kentucky was where the $250,000 Grade 2 Dixiana Elkhorn Stakes was run on Saturday, April 23 - a 1 1/2 mile turf test for horses four years old and upward. Da Big Hoss bounced back from an uncharacteristic effort last time out and won his second graded stakes race of the season at 5-2 odds - by a half length over Kaigun who was also sent off at 5-2. 9-1 shot Royal Albert Hall rallied from last and got in for third. A Red Tie Day was fourth while Up With the Birds, Twilight Eclipse, St. Albans Boy and Idolo Porteno completed the order of finish.
