Sahara Sky Wins San Carlos Stakes at Santa Anita Park

Las Vegas, NV - Santa Anita Park in Arcadia, California played host to the $250,000 Grade 2 San Carlos Stakes on Saturday, March, 8. 3-1 second choice Sahara Sky came from behind and defended his title by just a half length. Pacesetter Big Macher finished a very good second while Clubhouse Ride got up for the show spot. Wild Dude finished fourth while Shakin It Up, the 7-5 favorite in the 10-horse field finished fifth. Midnight Transfer, Let's Get Crackin, Ready for More, Cyclometer, and Zeewat completed the order of finish.
