Hronis Racing's Hard Aces posted the minor upset in the race prevailing by a nose at 7-1 odds and earning an automatic bid into the Breeders' Cup Classic - his first every graded stakes score. Hoppertunity finished second with 8-5 favorite Catch a Flight getting up for third. Finnegans Wake, rallied to finish fourth, while Big Cazanova, Lideris, Majestic City, Moreno, Poshsky, Motown Men, and Batti Man completed the order of finish.
