Testa Rossi Wins Endeavour Stakes at Tampa Bay Downs
Las Vegas, NV - Tampa Bay Downs in Tampa, Florida was the scene of the $150,000 Lambholm South Endeavour Stakes on Saturday, January 31. 2-1 second choice Hard Not to Like crossed the finish line first in the 1 1/16 mile test but was DQ'd after a Steward's review. The disqualification gave 8-5 shot Testa Rossi her third graded victory since arriving at Chad Brown's barn from France in August 2013. Hard Not to Like wound up second with 76-1 long shot Lots o' Lex finishing a terrific third. Principessa Ava was next followed by Medea, Maria Maria, I'm Already Sexy, Julie's Love, Save the Park, Why Katherine, and Naughty Holiday. Rock On Baby, Rosalind, and Tokyo Time were all early scratches.
