Llanarmon Wins Natalma Stakes at Woodbine Racetrack

Las Vegas, NV - The $200,000 Grade 2 Natalma Stakes was contested at Woodbine Racetrack in Toronto, Ontario Saturday, September 14 - a one mile turf event for two year old fillies. The race featured an ugly incident in which favored Ready to Act unseated jockey Rajiv Maraugh at the eighth pole - a scene that affected the outcome of the race. Able to avoid the may-lay, Llanarmon emerged victorious and gained an automatic berth into the Breeders' Cup Juvenile Fillies Turf. Spanish Flower got up for second and 5-2 second choice Appreciating finished third. Madly Truly finished fourth, followed by Skylander, Unspurned, and Spring Likeacobra.
