Las Vegas, NV - The Grade 3 Eatontown Handicap comes our way this Saturday, June 30th from Monmouth Park on the Jersey Shore. Fillies and mares three years old and upward will be after their share of the $100,000 purse when they go 1 1/16 miles on Monmouth's turf track.

The Eatontown has drawn a solid field of 10 females to go in race 11 on Monmouth's Saturday card. If the entries and contenders in the Eatontown sound familiar - they are! Many of the participants took part in the Violet Stakes here on Memorial Day. Post time is 5:48 PM. Let's take a look at the 10 and their past performances ahead of this Grade 3 event.

2012 Eatontown Handicap Race Favorites

Ruthenia - has won two straight races heading into the Eatontown - last time out it was an impressive score at the Grade 3 Violet Stakes on this track on May 28th and before that was an Allowance Optional Claiming win in April at Gulfstream. Ruthenia has placed in eight of 10 career starts with four wins and is in the best form of her career at present.

Pinch Pie - finished second to Ruthenia last time out in the Violet Stakes after she started 2012 with a win in an Allowance Optional Claiming. Pinch Pie had varying results in a pair of Grade 1 races last year - a third in the Alabama Stakes was followed by a seventh in the Garden City Stakes. She has been somewhat inconsistent but looks to be on a good path at the moment.

Heavenly Landing - started out 2012 with a bang - a win in the Grade 3 Marshua's River Stakes at Gulfstream on January 7th and then mixed results. Last time out she looked good in finishing second in the Grade 3 Mint Julep at Churchill Downs on June 2nd but before that was a couple of below average results - sixth in the Distaff Mile Turf Stakes on May 5th and fourth in the Grade 1 Jenny Wiley Stakes at Keeneland on April 14th. Heavenly Landing has shown flashes but has been inconsistent just the same.

Unbridled Humor - won the Grade 3 Noble Damsel Stakes last September at Belmont and has OK since. She has had third place finishes most recently in the Grade 3 Violet Stakes on this track, in the Grade 3 Athenia and in the Grade 3 Hillsborough. She also had fourths in the Grade 1 Matriarch and Florida Sunshine Millions Filly and Mare Turf and was second most recently in the First Dude Distaff Stakes at Tampa Bay Downs on April 7th. In four races this year she has been solid - a second, two thirds and a fourth place finish.

Marquet Madness - Her last win came over a year ago - a Starter Allowance score at Gulfstream. She has raced almost exclusively at Monmouth since with less than spectacular results - a fourth last time out in the minor Fort Monmouth Stakes was her best finish in a while.

Twice the Lady - will make her stakes debut on Saturday after a win and four seconds in Allowance Optional Claiming races in 2012. She has been cross-entered in the Bed O' Roses Handicap at Belmont.

Dinner's Out - will race for the first time in North America after a so-so career in Europe. In 12 career starts overseas, Dinner's Out has four wins, three seconds and a third place finish.

Vivo Per Lei - Bill Mott trained mare hasn't seen any graded stakes action since a 10th in the Mint Julep last June. She is coming off a rare win in an Allowance last time out to follow a pair of fifths in similar races.

Little Often Anni - is a veteran of 29 races with mixed results - four wins, seven seconds and five third place finishes. Last time out was a second in the minor Lyphard Stakes at Penn National to follow a disappointing seventh in an Allowance Optional Claiming at Belmont.

Silver Screamer - has won five of seven races - three of which were Allowance Optional Claiming races. Saturday marks a huge step up in competition - it will be Silver Screamer's stakes debut.
