The Santa Ysabel is the third race on Santa Anita's Saturday schedule with a post time of 1:00 PM PT. It is the first of the marquee races on what has turned out to be a very intriguing and packed Santa Anita Sunshine Millions Day card. The Santa Ysabel field of seven horses features an intriguing rematch between two fillies that have traded wins in their last two races and some interesting names that are running pretty well at the moment.

Here is a look at the entries and what they have done lately.

The Contenders:

Killer Graces - Killer Graces recorded an upset win in her last time out - a win in the Grade 1 Hollywood Starlet on December 10th. She ran a close second in the race prior at the Sharp Cat Stakes. This is her first start on Santa Anita's Main Track.

Charm the Maker - Flip flop what Killer Graces did - Charm the Maker finished second in her last race (Hollywood Starlet) but won the one before (Sharp Cat Stakes). In Charm the Maker's last four races, she has won two, finished second once and finished third in the Grade 3 Oak Leaf Stakes at Santa Anita on October 2nd. Very impressive.

Eden's Moon - Eden's moon has two starts - one being a win at on January 8th by a staggering 11 1/2 lengths - in a race that Reneesgotzip was entered. Bob Baffert may have another winner on his hands with Eden's Moon.

The Others:

Lady of Shamrock - Lady of Shamrock has looked good lately - she won the Blue Northern Stakes on December 30th. This will be Lady Shamrock's first race on dirt after two wins in four races on turf.

Willa B. Awesome - most recently finished second in the California Breeders Championship Stakes on December 26th.

Coup De Coeur - Jeff Bonde filly that has an impressive family tree that is filled with stakes winners.
