Dream Peace has placed in her last four starts overall and is the morning line favorite for the New York Stakes at 5-2.

Lady of Shamrock - is a five time stakes winner (two Grade 1 scores) coming off a third in the Grade 1 Gamely Stakes at Hollywood Park May 27 after a win in the Grade 2 Santa Barbara Handicap and a second as even money favorite in the Grade 2 Santa Ana Stakes March 24 behind Tiz Flirtatious. She races outside of California for the first time since 2011 Saturday and is the morning line second choice.

New York Stakes 2013 | Remaining Field Entries

Tannery - made her North American debut in the Grade 1 Garden City Stakes at Belmont Park September 15 and finished a very respectable third. She followed that with a distant eighth in the Grade 1 Queen Elizabeth II Challenge Cup at Keeneland October 13 and ended 2012 with a fourth in the Grade 3 Long Island Handicap in November. She has raced just twice in 2013 - a fourth in the minor Owsley Stakes here May 1 but followed that with her best career performance last time out - a win in the Grade 2 Sheepshead Bay Stakes at Belmont Park May 25 over Anjaz, Minakashi and a host of her more well known New York Stakes combatants.

Starformer - Bill Mott trained filly is a graded stakes winner that that enters having won two of four starts - the Grade 3 Long Island Handicap at Aqueduct in November and the Grade 3 The Very One Stakes at Gulfstream in February. Last time out was her worst career effort however - an ugly eighth after fading badly in the Grade 2 Sheepshead Bay Stakes at Belmont Park May 25 after a fifth in the Grade 3 Orchid Stakes at Gulfstream March 30. She has five wins, two seconds and three third place finishes in 16 career starts. Hopes are that her Sheepshead result was an exception, not the rule!
