Las Vegas, NV - Belmont Park in Elmont, New York will play host to the Grade 3 Pilgrim Stakes this Sunday, October 6. A purse of $150,000 will be on the line for a group of two year olds that will take to Belmont's turf track and go 1 1/16 miles.

A field of nine two year old up-and comers will line up in the Pilgrim Stakes - race 9 on Belmont`s Sunday schedule. Post time is 5:13 PM. The 1 1/16-mile test on turf is a Breeders' Cup "Win and You're In" Challenge race, giving the winner an automatic berth in the Nov. 2 Breeders' Cup Juvenile Turf at Santa Anita Park.

Due Diligence - will make just his second career start for trainer Chad Brown - the first being an impressive 7 1/2 length MSW score at Saratoga August 12. He is expected to get plenty of attention in his stakes debut with Jose Lezcano on the saddle from outside post 9.

Marvin's Miracle - Juan Coronel trainee has three career starts and broke maiden August 8 in his second career start - on this track. Before that was a second in a MSW at Belmont Park July 5. He made his stakes debut last time out and finished a respectable third behind Bashart in the Grade 2 With Anticipation Stat this distance August 29.

Captain's Affair - Irish bred colt had a win and a fifth place finish at home before shipping to North America where he has just one start which resulted in a reasonable fourth behind Solitary Ranger in the Grade 3 Arlington-Washington Futurity at Arlington Park September 7.

Otoy - Luis Miranda pupil made his stakes debut and finished fifth last time out in the minor Laurel Futurity September 21 after breaking maiden in his second career start at Belmont Park September 8. He debuted August 7 with a fourth in a MSW at Saratoga.

Shadow Banking - one of two Chad Brown trained colts that has one career start - a 6 1/4 length MSW score at Belmont Park September 11.

Bobby's Kitten - Chad Brown trained colt broke maiden last time out in his second career start at Saratoga after a third in his debut July 27 also at Saratoga.

Sandy Point - Edward Allard trained colt debuted with an ugly ninth at Parx September 3 but bounced back two weeks later win a nice Maiden Claiming win at Penn National in his only other career start.

Blue Pigeon - will race for just the second time in his career for trainer Christophe Clement but is coming off a win in a MSW at Saratoga August 28
