Las Vegas, NV - The Grade 1 Hollywood Starlet Stakes comes our way this Saturday, December 7 from Betfair Hollywood Park in Inglewood, California. A purse of $500,000 will be on the line for two year old fillies willing to go 1 1/16 miles on Hollywood Park's synthetic track.

Rosalind - Kenneth McPeek trained filly has placed in all four career starts - a third last time out after rallying from 16 lengths back and almost getting in for second in the Breeders' Cup Juvenile Fillies followed a second in the Grade 1 Darley Alcibiades at Keeneland October 4, a good third in the Grade 2 Pocahontas Stakes September 7 at Churchill Downs and a win in her debut in a MSW in August. She has been very competitive every time out so far and is expected to be the one to catch Saturday. She will break from the outside post under Joel Rosario.

Concave - Doug O`Neill trained filly won the Grade 1 Sorrento Stakes at Del Mar August 7 after a MSW score in her debut. She was a respectable third behind She`s a Tiger in the Grade 1 Del Mar Debutante August 31 but finished a disappointing ninth in the Breeders' Cup Juvenile Fillies - the only time she finished out of the money in her five career starts. Last time out was an OK third in the Grade 3 Delta Downs Princess Stakes November 23. She looks to get back in the winner's circle Saturday and departs from the rail with Mario Gutierrez aboard.

Untapable - has three career starts for trainer Steve Asmussen and two wins - the Grade 2 Pocahontas Stakes at Churchill Downs September 7 followed a MSW score on that same track in her debut in June. Last time out however was a career worst performance - an eighth after being eased in the Breeders' Cup Juvenile Fillies. She, Like Concave will be out to prove that her Breeders' Cup result was the exception, not the rule. Joe Talamo gets the mount from post 5.

Bajan - has five career starts for trainer Simon Callaghan - a second in her first career start in a MSW at Hollywood Park July 14 and a nice win by a nose over Southern Sunshine and Fascinating August 10 in her second. She enters the Hollywood Starlet having won two straight listed stakes races - the Moccasin Stakes last time out on this track November 9 and the Anoakia Stakes at Santa Anita October 13. Her only graded stakes action came August 31 - a sixth in the Grade 1 Del Mar Debutante. Bajan departs from post 4 in her first start beyond seven furlongs with Victor Espinoza in the saddle.

Arethusa - Eoin Harty trained filly has a win, a second and a third place finish in four career starts - the win coming last time out in her stakes debut - by an impressive 8 1/4 lengths the minor Sharp Cat Stakes on this track November 16. Before that were three MSW races with a second at Santa Anita October 27 being the highlight. Arethusa has improved every time out and is an intriguing entry for the Starlet.

Be Proud - multiple stakes placed Bob Baffert trained filly is coming off a second to Arethusa in the minor Sharp Cat Stakes here November 16 after breaking maiden October 27 and a pair of second place finishes. She makes her graded stakes debut Saturday having recorded a win and three seconds in her last four starts overall.

Streaming - Bob Baffert trained filly makes just her second career start Saturday but enters having won her only start - a MSW on this track November 15.

Taste Like Candy - Jerry Holendorfer trained filly has just one career start and it was a good one - a 5 1/2 furlong MSW score by6 1/2 lengths with a 85 Beyer Speed Figure at Santa Anita October 20.
