Las Vegas, NV - The Grade 1 Queen Elizabeth II Challenge Cup comes our way from Keeneland in Lexington, Kentucky this Saturday, October 11. A nice purse of $500,000 will be on the line for three year old fillies willing to go 1 1/8 miles on Keeneland's turf track.

A field of nine sophomore fillies will line up in the Queen Elizabeth II Challenge Cup - race 9 on Keeneland's Saturday card. Post time is 4:42 PM. Here is a look into the past performances of all nine combatants for this Grade 1 stakes.

2014 Queen Elizabeth II Challenge Cup Race Favorite Entries

Minorette - will make just her fifth North American start for trainer Chad Brown after four starts in Britain yielded a win and a third place finish. Last time out was a disappointing fourth behind Crown Queen (who is also entered this weekend) in the Grade 2 Knob Creek Lake Placid Stakes August 16 which followed a terrific break through win in the $1 million Grade 1 Belmont Oaks Invitational with a 112 BRIS Speed Rating July 5, a respectable second behind Sea Queen in the minor Wonder Again Stakes May 25 and a third in her North American debut - an Allowance April 6. She has been in every race since shipping and will line up in post 2 with Joel Rosario aboard.

Personal Diary -has just two wins in 10 career starts - a maiden score at first asking and in the Grade 1 Del Mar Oaks last time out August 16 - a career defining victory. She has another four seconds and two third place finishes in her career. Before Personal Diary's latest win she placed in her previous four starts - a second in an Allowance Optional Claiming July 27 followed a good second in the Grade 3 Regret Stakes June 14 and a third and a second respectively in a pair of Allowance races. Personal Diary has been very good the last six months and has improved every time out culminating in that impressive win last time out. Corey Nakatani has the mount from gate 5.

Crown Queen - Legendary trainer Bill Mott sends out Crown Queen for her sixth career start. She enters on a nice three race win streak - ahead of Minorette in the Grade 2 Lake Placid Stakes last time out in her stakes debut, an Allowance July 20 and a maiden score at Belmont Park in June. Her other two career results were third place finishes in MSW races in 2013. John Velazquez has been tabbed to ride the up-and-coming filly from gate 8.

Ball Dancing - listed stakes winner in France has six career starts for trainer Chad Brown with three wins and a second place finish. Last time out was a superb win in her North American debut - the Grade 2 Sands Point Stakes at Belmont Park September 13. Her last race at home resulted in a fifth in the Group 1 Prix de Diane Longines June 15, a third in a Group 3 race in June and a stakes score in May. She was mighty impressive last time out and will roll with Joe Bravo from post 6.

Daring Dancer - posted a disappointing sixth in the Grade 2 Sands Point Stakes last time out September 13 which followed a terrific win in the Grade 2 Lake George Stakes July 23 for trainer H. Graham Motion and a disappointing fifth as 4-5 favorite in the minor Wonder Again Stakes in May. Before that was another good graded stakes win - the Grade 3 Appalachian Stakes at Keeneland in April. She started her career with yet two more wins making it four wins in six career starts for this filly. She has alternated great results with poor ones the last six months - it may be her turn for a good performance this week. Alan Garcia has been tabbed to ride from the outside post Saturday.

SistasStroll - Tom Proctor trained filly has four career starts with three wins and a third place finish. She enters off a terrific win in her stakes debut - the Grade 3 Pucker Up Stakes at Arlington September 13, an Allowance score in August and a maiden score in June at Churchill Downs. She looks to extend an impressive three race win streak with Drayden Van Dyke in the saddle from the rail.

Speed Seeker - will make her fourth career start for trainer Joan Scott - the first being a 7 3/4 length maiden score at Woodbine June 8, the second resulting in a fifth in the Grade 2 Lake George Stakes at Saratoga July 23 and the last being a nice win in the Grade 3 Ontario Colleen Stakes at Woodbine August 23. She has won two of three career starts and will be looking for a second straight graded stakes win with James Graham in the irons from post 3.

Aurelia's Belle - will race for the tenth time for trainer Wayne Catalano and is coming off a fifth in the Grade 3 Pucker Up Stakes at Arlington Park September 13 which followed a nice two race win streak - the Grade 3 Arlington Oaks July 19 and the Grade 3 Regret Stakes in June. Before that was an uncharacteristic ninth in the Grade 1 Kentucky Oaks and a terrific win in the Grade 3 Bourbonette Oaks at Turfway Park March 22. She has four wins, a second and two third place finishes in nine career starts and enters having won three of her last five starts overall. Channing Hill gets the call from gate 4.

Sea Queen - Christophe Clement trained filly has looked good as of late - last time out was an OK third behind Ball Dancing in the Grade 3 Sands Point Stakes September 13 which followed a slight hiccup - a fourth as 7-5 favorite in the Grade 1 Del Mar Oaks August 16 and a good second in the $1 million Grade 1 Belmont Oaks Invitational which was her graded stakes debut July 5. Before that was a win in the minor Wonder Again Stakes at 18-1 odds May 25 and an Allowance score at Keeneland in April. She has three wins two seconds and a third place finish in eight career starts and has won two of her last five with a second in there too. Irad Ortiz rides from post 7.
