Las Vegas, NV - Tampa Bay Downs in Tampa, Florida will play host to the Grade 3 Florida Oaks this Saturday, March 7. Three year old fillies will be featured in this 1 1/16 mile turf test as the entries chase the winner's share of the $200,000 purse.

2015 Florida Oaks Race Favorite Entries

Consumer Credit - Chad Brown trained filly has five career starts with three wins and a second place finish. She enters this week on a three race win streak - by a length in the Grade 3 Sweetest Chant Stakes on this track last time out, in the minor Wait a While Stakes by a dominant 3 3/4 lengths here November 29 and a maiden score by 2 1/4 lengths in her third career start. She has looked terrific lately and is the one to catch Saturday. Edgard Zayas has the mount on the 123 pound top weight from post 7.

Quality Rocks - Bill Mott trainee started 2-for-2 in her career - the minor Arlington-Washington Lassie Stakes September 6 after a 3 1/2 length maiden score at Presque Isle Downs August 13. Last time out she finished a decent second behind Consumer Credit in the Grade 3 Sweetest Chant Stakes January 24 after a tenth on the biggest stage - the Breeders' Cup Juvenile Fillies Turf and a good second behind Rainha Da Bateria in the Grade 3 Jessamine Stakes October 8. She has been in there with some top fields and has fared well - two wins and two seconds in five career starts. Jose Lezcano gets the mount this time from gate 3.

Lismore - makes her graded stakes debut for trainer George Weaver on Saturday off a pair of seconds - an Allowance Optional Claiming last time out and in her stakes debut - right behind Consumer Credit the minor Wait a While Stakes at Gulfstream Park West in November. She hasn't been worse than second in four career starts with one win under her belt and hopes to keep the roll going from post 6 with Irad Ortiz guiding her.

Nicky's Brown Miss - has 11 career starts with one win, two seconds and three third place finishes. She won the minor Kentucky Downs Juvenile Fillies Stakes September 6 after a third in her stakes debut - the minor Colleen Stakes at Monmouth Park in August but struggled after that - a tenth in the Grade 3 Miss Grillo Stakes at Belmont Park September 28 was followed by a thirteenth in the Breeders' Cup Juvenile Fillies Turf. Nicky's Brown Miss has looked better since - a second last time out in the minor Ginger Brew Stakes on this track followed a third behind Consumer Credit in an Allowance Optional Claiming at Gulfstream February 6, a fifth in the Grade 3 Sweetest Chant Stakes January 24 and a third behind Consumer Credit and Lismore in the minor Wait a While Stakes in November. Gabriel Saez gets the call from the rail Saturday.

Tiger Ride - has two wins and a third place finish in three career starts for trainer Kellyn Gorder but Saturday marks her Stakes debut. Last time out was an Allowance Optional Claiming score as 6-5 favorite by 3 1/4 lengths on this track after a third in a similar race at Churchill Downs in November and a maiden score at first asking - at Keeneland in October. She looks ready for her stakes debut and departs from gate 4 with Antonio Gallardo aboard.

Bugle - has placed in all three career starts for trainer Eddie Kenneally (all MSW). She enters off a maiden score after a pair of seconds to start her career - all results at Gulfstream Park. Bugle looks OK ahead her stakes debut and leaves from gate 8 with Julien Leparoux in the irons.

Include Betty - Tom Proctor trained filly has five career starts with two wins, a second and a third place finish and enters this week on a two race win streak - the minor Suncoast Stakes last time out January 31 and a maiden score in her fourth career start - both results at Tampa Bay Downs. She makes her graded stakes bow in good form off a win in her only stakes action to date and will have Rosemary Homeister guiding her from post 13.

Get Down Kitten - Michael Maker trained filly makes her third career start off a fourth in an Allowance Optional Claiming and a maiden score at first asking - both results at Gulfstream Park. She makes her stakes debut Saturday from post 11 with Joel Rosario in the saddle.

Don't Leave Me - Malcolm Pierce trained filly started her career with two wins - a maiden score at first asking August 2 and an Allowance win August 22 - both results at Woodbine. She made an unsuccessful step up into stakes company last time out and finished a troubled sixth in the Grade 2 Natalma Stakes at Woodbine in September. Don't Leave Me hits the track for the first time in six months Saturday looking for a strong bounceback. Luis Contreras rides from gate 12.

Afleet Mary - Antonio Sano trained filly has six career starts with two wins, a second and a third place finish but makes her stakes debut Saturday. She broke maiden in November in her third career start and has placed in all three starts since - a third, a win and a second respectively in Starter Optional Claiming races at Gulfstream Park. Daniel Centeno will be in charge from post 5 Saturday as Afleet Mary looks to make a little noise in stakes company.

Distorted Type - will try to remain perfect in her career for trainer Dale Bennett - two career starts and two wins. Last time out was an Allowance Optional Claiming score February 21 after a maiden score January 17 - both results on this track. Pablo Morales has been tabbed with keeping the perfect record intact - from post 9.

Season Ticket - Mark Casse trained filly broke maiden at first asking but recorded a disappointing sixth in her only other career start - at Gulfstream Park February 6. Season Ticket looks for a bounceback in her stakes debut Saturday with Fernando De La Cruz guiding her from gate 10.

Mrs McDougal - Chad Brown trained filly has just one career start and it was a good one - a maiden score at Gulfstream Park February 4. She steps into stakes company in her second career start and will have the legendary John Velazquez in the irons from an unfavorable outside post.

Aliquippa - broke maiden last time out in her fourth career start for trainer William Bradley after failing to hit the board in her first three career starts. She steps into stakes company for the first time Saturday with a bit of confidence but you have to figure she's over her head in this one. Keiber Coa rides from gate 2.
