HALLANDALE BEACH, FL – The 20-cent Rainbow 6 carryover jackpot rose to $593,898.06 for Saturday’s program at Gulfstream Park after the popular multi-race wager went unsolved for the 25th consecutive card Friday.

First-race post time for Saturday’s 12-race program is set for 12:55 p.m., with the Rainbow 6 sequence spanning Races 7-12.

Multiple tickets with all six winners Friday were each worth $750.22.

The Rainbow 6 carryover jackpot is paid out only when there is a single unique ticket sold with all six winners. On days when there is no unique ticket sold, 70 percent of that day’s pool goes back to those bettors holding tickets with the most winners while 30 percent is carried over to the jackpot pool.

Gaffalione Continues Hot Hand with Three More Winners

Jockey Tyler Gaffalione continued to pile up victories at Gulfstream Park Friday with three more trips to the winner’s circle. The 22-year-old rising star won aboard Dressed in Heels ($2.60) in the second race, Little Christina ($2.40) in the third, Omened By ($7) in the sixth, giving him a total of 20 winners over the past seven programs and a nation-leading 131 for the year

Gaffalione is scheduled to travel to Penn National Saturday to ride Todd Pletcher-trained Bronson in the $500,000 Penn Mile (G2).
