Las Vegas, NV -The $500,000 Grade 1 Jamaica Handicap was contested at Belmont Park in Elmont, New York Saturday, October 5. Sam-Son Farms' homebred Up With the Birds earned his first graded stakes victory by a half length at 4-1 odds over Admiral Kitten who was sent off as the 7-2 favorite. Jack Milton finished third while Notacatbutallama, Joha, Stormy Len, Mills, War Dancer, Balance the Books, Global Asset, Michael With Us, and Get in Line completed the order of finish. Five Iron scratched.
