Del Mar racetrack in Del Mar, California hosted the Grade 2 Del Mar Handicap Presented by The Japan Racing Association on Saturday, August 20. El Huerfano finished fourth while Wanstead Gardens, Finnegans Wake, Power Foot, Flamboyant, who was sent off at 7-2 odds, Express Himself, Quick Casablanca, Patentar and Belisarius completed the order of finish.
