Forever Darling Wins Santa Ynez Stakes at Santa Anita Park

Las Vegas, NV - The $200,000 Grade 2 Santa Ynez Stakes was contested at Santa Anita Park in Arcadia, California on Saturday, January 2 - a 6 1/2 furlong race for three year old fillies. 4-1 shot Forever Darling was best on the day winning by a half length and earning 10 qualifying points toward the Kentucky Oaks in May. 5-2 second choice Code Warrior finished second with 2-1 favorite Pretty N Cool getting in for a somewhat disappointing third. Treasuring, My Dynamo, One Last Shot, and Decked Out completed the order of finish. Rockantharos was scratched.
