Las Vegas, NV - The $200,000 Grade 3 Shuvee Handicap went down at Saratoga Race Course in the great state of New York on Saturday, July 20. 1-2 favorite Authenticity bided her time and surged past the leaders in the stretch to secure the one length victory. Preston Stables' Flashy American, off an easy win in the Iowa Distaff Stakes was next recording her first graded stakes placing, while Sea Island who started strong held third. Rounding out the field of six were Moon Philly, Royal Lahaina, and Eblouissante whose highly anticipated stakes debut turned out to be a bit of a disaster.
