Cactus Kris - Ryan Walsh trained filly has six wins, five seconds and three third place finishes in 17 career starts and enters off a career-best effort - a win in the Grade 3 Ontario Fashion Stakes here October 18. Before that was an OK second in the minor H.B. P.A Stakes at Presque Isle Downs October 6, a fourth in the Grade 2 Presque Isle Downs Masters in September, a third in the Grade 3 Seaway Stakes on this track in August and a win in the minor Satin and Lace Stakes at Presque Isle Downs in June. Cactus Kris has placed in six of her last seven starts overall and should be a confident entry this week on a track she's posted two wins, a second and a third place finish in four starts. She looks for her second graded stakes score in a row from gate 2 with Huber Villa-Gomez guiding her.

Endless Light - improving British bred Mark Frostad trained mare has placed in all nine career starts - two wins and seven second place finishes. She had a win and three runner-up finishes at home before debuting in North America with a second in an Allowance Optional Claiming in April. She has four straight starts on this track with consecutive runner-up finishes entering the weekend - behind Cactus Kris in the Grade 3 Ontario Fashion Stakes October 18 and the behind Marbre Rose in Grade 3 Seaway Stakes August 8. She also won the minor Sweet Briar Stakes in July at 10-1 odds. Endless Light has been competitive every time out but looks for her first graded stakes score Sunday - from the rail with Emma-Jayne Wilson in the saddle.
