G. G. Ryder - Jerry Hollendorfer trained colt has 17 career starts with eight wins, three seconds and a third place finish. He finished a good second behind Pepper Crown in the Grade 3 Berkeley Handicap on this very track in November and went on to an Allowance score here January 1. His last two starts on this track have been good as well - last time out was a second in an Allowance April 5 after an Allowance score February 21 and un uncharacteristic eighth in the minor California Cup Turf Classic in January. G. G. Ryder has three wins and two second place finishes in his last six starts, has three wins in his career over rival Pepper Crown and certainly enters in good form. Ricardo Gonzalez will be in the saddle from the rail.

Toruk Makto - Jerry Hollendorfer trained gelding races in stakes company for the first time Saturday after 16 career starts yielded three wins, three seconds and three third place finishes. He posted a win on this track February 28 in an Allowance Optional Claiming and was third last time out in an Allowance also here April 5. Toruk Makto has two wins and a third place finish in his last four starts on this track but has placed in three of seven starts overall. Pedro Terrero has the call in Toruk Makdo's big step up in competition - from gate 2.

Are You Kidding Me - was last seen in November finishing a disappointing sixth in the Grade 2 Autumn Stakes at Woodbine after he posted an OK third after leading the majority of the way in the Grade 3 Durham Cup October 4 and a fifth in the Grade 2 King Edward Stakes in June. He registered an impressive win - by four lengths in the Grade 3 Kent Stakes at Delaware Park in September, 2013 but has placed in just one of four starts since that race. He now has 17 career starts with three wins, three seconds and three third place finishes and will be looking for his first win in 19 months Saturday. Brice Blanc gets the call from post 3.

Edge of Reality - Graham Motion trained colt was at his best in 2013 when he won the Grade 3 Smarty Jones Stakes at Parx in September but has been up and down since. He has placed in just three of 13 starts since but those results were minor stakes races - wins in the Alphabet Soup Handicap September 20 at Parx and the Leemat Stakes in July at Presque Isle Downs and an OK second in the minor Santana Mile Stakes March 29 at Santa Anita. He had a fifth in the Grade 2 Arcadia Stakes January 31, an eighth in the Grade 2 San Gabriel January 3 and a fifth in the has placed in just one of his last five starts. Edge of Reality hopes to get back to his 2013 form with Drayden Van Dyke in the irons from the outside post 8.

Tiz Dynamic - D. Wayne Baker pupil has 29 career starts with eight wins, four seconds and two third place finishes and enters having won two of his last three starts - both Claiming races on this track. He also had a seventh place finish in an Allowance Optional Claiming sandwiched in there. Tiz Dynamic has just one graded stakes start - an eight in the 2014 Grade 3 Tokyo City Cup. He enters in so-so form and will have Silvio Ruiz Amador aboard from post 5.

Polytechnicien - finished seventh in his last graded stakes start - the Grade 3 Berkeley Handicap - it followed a three race win streak (two on this track). Since the Berkeley he has placed in just one of three starts. Last time out was a third in a Claiming race after a sixth in a similar race January 16 and a fifth in an Allowance January 1. He did place in three stakes races in Europe but hasn't had the same success in stakes company since. Polytechnicien hasn't been great in lesser company so not a whole lot is expected in his step up. Catalino Martinez has the mount from post 4.
