Aigue Marine Wins Long Island Handicap at Aqueduct

Las Vegas, NV - Aqueduct Racetrack in the great state of New York played host to the $200,000 Grade 3 Long Island Handicap on Saturday, November 8 - a 1 1/2 mile turf test for older horses fillies and mares. 13-2 third choice Aigue Marine posted the win in her third crack at this race - by a neck over 8-5 favorite Danza Cavallo who was making her North American debut. Maximova finished two lengths farther back in third with Songoficeandfire, Tabreed, Meri Shika, Auld Alliance, Hellenistic, Invading Humor, Viva Rafaela, Giant Shadow, and Embarr completing the order of finish. Angegreen and also-eligible Bohemian Dance were scratched.
