Sticksstatelydude Wins Discovery Stakes at Aqueduct Racetrack

Aqueduct Racetrack in South Ozone Park, New York played host to the $150,000 G3 Discovery Stakes on Saturday, November 12 - a 1 1/8 mile dirt test for horses three years old. It was Sticksstatelydude that followed up a runner-up finish in the Oklahoma Derby with an impressive win in the field of nine - at 6-1 odds. 22-1 longshot Neolithic finished a good second while My Man Sam, who was also sent off at 6-1 closed from last to win a photo for third with Adulator who finished just out of the money. 8-5 favorite Gift Box was fifth while Sunny Ridge, Governor Malibu, Wild About Deb, and Vulcan's Forge completed the order of finish. Hot Seat and Hunter O'Riley scratched.
