Las Vegas, NV - In the $200,000 Grade 2 Sheepshead Bay Stakes at Belmont Park on Saturday, Irish bred Tannery recorded her first North American victory by a length for trainer Alan Goldberg at 10-1 odds. Anjaz finished second, pacesetter Minakshi finished third. The 9-5 favorite Hessonite eased back sixth out of eight older fillies and mares. Julie's Love, Mystical Star, Hessonite, Strathnaver, and Starformer completed the order of finish.
