Big Blue Kitten Wins Fort Marcy Stakes at Belmont Park
Las Vegas, NV - Belmont Park in Elmont, New York was the scene of the Grade 3 Fort Marcy Stakes on Saturday, May 2 - a 1 1/8 mile turf race for older horses. 9-5 favorite Ken and Sarah Ramsey's homebred Big Blue Kitten did what most expected and rallied after sitting in eighth to post the 2 1/4 length win. 41-1 longshot Howe Great finished a very good second with Middleburg an even third a head back. Divine Oath was fourth, followed by Sky Blazer, V. E. Day, Mr Speaker, and Unbridled Ocean to complete the order of finish. Hyper was scratched.
