Las Vegas, NV - Kentucky Derby weekend kicked off on Friday, May 2 with the main event that day being the $1 million Kentucky Oaks for the best three year olds fillies in the land. Winchell Thoroughbreds' 4-5 overwhelming favorite Untapable was much the best on the day prevailing by 4 1/2 lengths in the 1 1/8 mile test. My Miss Sophia finished second at 5-1 odds while Unbridled Forever was third. Unbridled Forever was followed by Rosalind, Thank You Marylou, Ria Antonia, Got Lucky, Sugar Shock, Aurelia's Belle, Please Explain, Fashion Plate, and Kiss Moon.
