Todd Pletcher trained 9-5 second choice Channel Lady overcame a slight bump at the break and recorded the win in the field of seven older fillies and mares. The longest shot in the field Idle Talk, at 26-1, and jockey Horacio Karamanos rallied to finish second, Clare Skies Ahead was third and Embarr was fourth with 17-10 favorite Appealing Cat fading to fifth and Adjacent sixth. Pacesetter Welcome Dance tired, finishing last.
