The race ended in a three-way photo finish with Kenneth McPeek trained 7-1 shot War Dancer out sprinting the favorites in the 1 1/4 mile test. 3-1 second choice Charming Kitten finished a very close second with Jack Milton coming up for third at 7-2 odds. Draw Two, Redwood Kitten, Fear the Kitten, Readyshakego were next. Rydilluc, in a draw with Gefest, and Bethel completed the order of finish.
