2013 TVG Pacific Classic Stakes at Del Mar Race Track Results
Las Vegas, NV - The second of the two weekend $1 million races was held at Del Mar Sunday, August 25 when the Grade 1 Pacific Classic was run. It was the Bob Baffert trained 8-5 favorite Game On Dude that came out and absolutely demolished the field by a record 8 1/2 lengths in gate-to-wire fashion. The win automatically qualified Game On Dude for the Breeders' Cup Classic in November. Second and third place were determined by a four-horse photo finish with a pair of John Sadler trainees taking the show spots. Kettle Corn finished second while You Know I Know third. Two-time Pacific Classic winner Richard's Kid was fourth. Brazilian-bred Holding Glory was next followed by Delegation, Byrama, second choice and defending Pacific Classic champion Dullahan, Jeranimo, Endorsement, Farraaj, and Blueskiesnrainbows.
