Vale Dori Wins Bayakoa Stakes at Del Mar Race Track
Del Mar racetrack in Del Mar, California was the scene of the $200,000 G2 Bayakoa Stakes on Saturday, December 3. Fillies and mares three years old and upward were featured when they took to Del Mar's dirt track and raced 1 1/16 miles. Mohammed bin Khalifa al Maktoum's 1-2 race favorite Vale Dori was impressive yet again emerging by three lengths in the field of eight. 5-1 third choice Wild At Heart finished second, one length ahead of 49-1 longshot Moyo Honey who got in for a quality third. Show Stealer closed from seventh to finish fourth, followed by Barbara Beatrice, Autumn Flower, 9-2 second betting choice Gloryzapper, and Desert Madam to complete the order of finish.
