Harmonize Wins Del Mar Oaks at Del Mar Race Track

The $300,000 Grade 1 Del Mar Oaks Presented by The Kentucky Jockey Club was run Saturday, August 20 at Del Mar racetrack in Del Mar, California. Horses three years old and upward went 1 3/8 miles on Del Mar's turf track. Larkin Armstrong's 7-2 co-second choice Harmonize was best on the day as he outfinished a field of 10 for his first graded stakes score. Graded Stakes winners, 9-1 shot Decked Out finished second with Stays in Vegas getting in for third at 5-1 odds. 3-1 favorite Mokat finished fourth while Tin Type Gal, Barleysugar, Mines and Magic, Cheekaboo, Lady Valeur and Lynne's Legacy completed the order of finish. Mrs. Norris scratched.
