Tara's Tango Wins Rancho Bernardo Handicap at Del Mar Race Track
The Grade 3 Rancho Bernardo Handicap was contested Wednesday, August 17 at Del Mar racetrack in Del Mar, California - a 6 1/2 furlong dirt test for fillies and mares three years old and upward. Stonestreet Stables' homebred, 4-1 fourth choice Tara's Tango added a graded stakes sprinting victory to her resume, emerging by a half length in a field that was trimmed to just six. 5-2 co-second choice Enchanting Lady closed from last to finish second while 37-1 longshot Coniah got in for a very good third place finish. Pretty N Cool was fourth while Lost Bus and 2-1 favorite Sensitively tired badly to complete the order of finish. Finest City scratched.
