Las Vegas, NV - The $200,000 Grade 3 Longacres Mile was run Sunday, August 24 at Emerald Down in beautiful Auburn, Washington. 13-10 favorite Stryker Phd did what most expected and emerged victorious in the 12 horse field - by a half length after trailing by 15 lengths and unleashing a terrific stretch drive. Boyett finished a good second with 24-1 longshot Twistgrips getting in for third. Shooting Jacket, Mr. Bowling, Prohibition, Disruption, Dontmesswithkitten, Jebrica, Mysterious Soul, and Title Contender completed the order of finish.
