Penwith Wins Royal Delta Stakes at Gulfstream Park

Las Vegas, NV - The $200,000 Grade 2 Royal Delta Stakes was run at Gulfstream Park in Hallandale Beach, Florida on Saturday, February 13. Fillies and mares four years old and upward were featured in this 1 1/16 mile test. Godolphin Racing's Penwith recorded her first graded stakes score in the short field of just five - by a relatively easy three lengths as the 3-1 third choice. 6-5 favorite Sandiva finished second with 8-5 second choice Best Behavior getting in for third. Gamblers Road and Enchantress completed the order of finish. Call Pat was scratched to run in the Feb. 14 Bayakoa at Oaklawn Park.
