Distinta Wins Inside Information Stakes at Gulfstream Park

The $200,000 G2 Inside Information Stakes was contested Saturday, March 18 at Gulfstream Park in Hallandale Beach, Florida. Fillies and mares four years and upward were featured when they took to Gulfstream's dirt track and raced seven furlongs. Veb Racing Stable's Distinta, dismissed at 11-1 odds closed well to earn her first graded stakes score - by a half length in the field of eight. 20-1 shot Wheatfield finished a good second with 3-1 second choice Dearest getting in for third. Mia Torri wound up fourth while 3-5 favorite Curlin's Approval never fired and finished fifth and Summer Reading, Moment of Delight and Danessa Again completed the order of finish.
