Everett Handicap went down at Betfair Hollywood Park Saturday, May 18. 9-1 shot Open Water posted the upset win for her first stakes victory, catching and eventually surpassing odds-on-choice 7-10 Lady of Fifty by one length. I Dazzle finished third. Maker or Breaker was fourth, followed by Sister Kate and Lady Aspen, who trailed throughout while More Chocolate was scratched.
