Las Vegas, NV - The $150,000 Grade 2 Elkhorn Stakes took place at Keeneland on Friday, April 26. Sarah and Ken Ramsey owned Dark Cover registered the upset win at 9-1 odds. Another long shot, 23-1 Side Road recorded his first stakes placing with an impressive second place finish while Sky Blazer got up for third. Al Qasr finished fourth, followed by Reflecting, Pool Play, Al Khali, Macho Bull, 5-2 favorite Ioya Bigtime who finished a disappointing ninth, and Helicopter. Forte Dei Marmi was pulled up early.
