Madame Cactus Wins Raven Run Stakes at Keeneland
Las Vegas, NV - The $250,000 Grade 2 Lexus Raven Run Stakes was contested at Keeneland Saturday October 19. It was one of the Also-Eligibles, a question mark to even start the race that came up huge in the seven furlong test for three year old fillies. Madame Cactus used an impressive wide rally to triumph by a neck at 11-1 odds for trainer Peter Eurton while 10-1 Eden Prairie finished a very good second and My Option captured third at 4-1 odds. Ciao Bella Luna, Irish Lute, Fully Living, Primed for Passion, Elusive Fate, 3-1 favorite Silsita, Sittin At the Bar, Jewel of a Cat, Turn by Turn, Finding More, and Thetaloveandmine completed the order of finish. Plenty O'Toole and Lighthouse Bay scratched.
