Brody's Cause Wins Breeders' Futurity at Keeneland Race Course

Las Vegas, NV - The $500,000 Grade 1 Claiborne Breeders' Futurity was contested at Keeneland in Lexington, Kentucky on Saturday, October 3 - a 1 1/16 mile race for two year olds. Albaugh Family Stable's Brody's Cause came up big and bested the field of 11 by a length at 11-1 odds. Brody's Cause not only earned an automatic berth into the Breeders' Cup Juvenile but he also gained 10 points on the Road to next year's Kentucky Derby. 2-1 favorite Exaggerator finished second with Rated R Superstar getting in for third at 6-1 on the morning line. Sticksstatelydude finished an even fourth, followed by Uncle Vinny, Sheikh of Sheikhs, Threefiveindia, Uncle Jerry, Gametown, Pinnacle Peak, and Wild Man.
