Dancing Rags Wins Darley Alcibiades Stakes at Keeneland Race Course

The $400,000 G1 Darley Alcibiades Stakes went down Friday, October 7 at Keeneland in Lexington, Kentucky - a 1 1/16 mile dirt test for two year old fillies. 12-1 shot Graham Motion trained filly - Dancing Rags made quite a statement and upset the field of 14 by one length. Pocahontas Stakes winner and 9-2 second choice Daddys Lil Darling, who raced 12th through a half-mile rallied well to finish second, two lengths in front of Fun who got in for third at 11-1 odds. The Alcibiades is a Breeders' Cup Challenge "Win and You're In" race, granting Dancing Rags a berth to the 14 Hands Winery Juvenile Fillies at Santa Anita Park. Caroline Test finished fourth and was followed home by Dream Dancing, For Honor, Benner Island, Queen Bernardina, I'mluckysgirl, 7-2 favorite Diadura, Sully's Dream, Price Too High, Cold Hearted Pearl and Lady Hansen to complete the order of finish.
