Brooklynsway Wins Doubledogdare Stakes at Keeneland Racetrack

Keeneland Racetrack in Lexington, Kentucky played host to the $100,000 Grade 3 Hilliard Lyons Doubledogdare Stakes on Friday, April 22 - a 1 1/16 mile race for fillies and mares four years old and upward. It was 25-1 shot Brooklynsway that stunned the field of eight by 1 1/4 lengths. Overwhelming 1-2 favorite I'm a Chatterbox did her best but could only manage second while Ahh Chocolate got in for third as the 7-2 second choice. White Clover was fourth followed by Innovative Idea, Pretty Fancy, Sea Shadow and Back in Dixie who was pulled up in the stretch and vanned off. She was unfortunately later euthanized.
