The $500,000 G1 Queen Elizabeth II Challenge Cup Stakes presented by Lane's End was run Saturday, October 14 at Keeneland in Lexington, Kentucky. Three-year-old fillies were featured when they lined up on Keeneland's turf track and raced 1 1/8 miles. John Oxley's 5-1 co-fourth choice La Coronel produced a career-best effort, recording her first G1 win in front-running style. Daddys Lil Darling made a bid but settled for second at 9-1 odds, a half-length back with 20-1 shot Madame Dancealot claiming third. Uni was fourth in the field of 10 while Beau Recall, 5-2 favorite New Money Honey, Dream Dancing, 7-2 second choice Proctor's Ledge, Con Te Patiro, and Unforgetable Filly completed the order of finish. Wuheida was scratched.
