John Oxley's 5-1 co-fourth choice La Coronel produced a career-best effort, recording her first G1 win in front-running style. Daddys Lil Darling made a bid but settled for second at 9-1 odds, a half-length back with 20-1 shot Madame Dancealot claiming third. Uni was fourth in the field of 10 while Beau Recall, 5-2 favorite New Money Honey, Dream Dancing, 7-2 second choice Proctor's Ledge, Con Te Patiro, and Unforgetable Filly completed the order of finish.
