Isabella Sings Wins Eatontown Stakes at Monmouth Park

The $100,000 Grade 3 Eatontown Stakes went down Saturday, June 25 at Monmouth Park in Oceanport, New Jersey. Fillies and mares three years old and upward took to Monmouth's turf track and raced 1 1/16 miles. Siena Farm's homebred, overwhelming 2-5 favorite Isabella Sings led all the way and eventually prevailed by a relatively easy three lengths. Hard-closing 6-1 second choice Sea Coast finished second, 1 3/4 ahead of Bureau de Change who claimed third in the field of seven at 8-1 odds. Means Well finished fourth while Invading Humor, Camille Claudel and Nisharora (IRE) completed the order of finish. My Cara Mia scratched.
