Monmouth Park in Oceanport, New Jersey played host to the $101,000 Grade 3 Jersey Shore Stakes on Saturday, July 23 - a six furlong dash for three year olds on Monmouth Park's dirt track. J Kirk and Judy Robison's slight 2-1 second choice Front Pocket Money took a narrow lead early and held it en route to a three quarter length victory in the field of six. Fast closing 6-1 shot Yellow Chips had to settle for second while Colonel Sharp got in for third at 7-2 odds. Divine Warrior finished fourth while 2-1 favorite Full Salute and Cashel Rock completed the order of finish.
