World Approval Wins United Nations Stakes at Monmouth Park

The $300,000 Grade 1 United Nations Stakes took place this Sunday, July 3 at Monmouth Park in Oceanport, New Jersey - a 1 3/8 mile turf test for horses three years old and upward. Live Oak Plantation' homebred and 5-2 second choice World Approval finally got over the hump after some quality finishes and won his first ever Grade 1 race - prevailing by 1 1/4 lengths over the solid field of 10. Late charging 5-1 shot Money Multiplier finished second while 9-5 favorite Wake Forest got in for third. Triple Threat rallied to finish fourth, followed by Can'thelpbelieving, Riviere Du Loup, Mr Maybe, Bigger Picture, Cement Clement, and Noble Road to complete the order of finish.
