Edison Wins Canadian Derby at Northlands Park
Las Vegas, NV - Northlands Park in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada hosted the Grade 3 Canadian Derby Stakes on Saturday, August 16. Florida bred Edison stole the show, winning by an impressive 11 1/2 lengths in the field of 11 as the 5-2 second choice. Remembertobreathe finished a good second, three quarters of a length in front of Private Money Game who held on for third. Go Max was fourth, followed by slight 2-1 favorite The Spinmeister, Wilko Rum, Awesome Nugget, Lintlaw, Shootitinthebush, Off the Top, and Consecrate.
