Songbird Wins Cotillion Stakes at Parx Racing

Parx Racing in Bensalem, Pennsylvania hosted the $1 million Grade 1 Cotillion Stakes on Saturday, September 24 - a 1 1/16 mile race for three year old fillies. To absolutely nobody's surprise it was the supremely talented overwhelming 1-5 race favorite Songbird that recorded her 11th straight win - in dominant fashion once again - this time by 5 3/4 lengths. 6-1 third choice Carina Mia wound up second in the field of six while 5-2 second choice Cathryn Sophia got in for third. Land Over Sea was fourth with Disco Rose and Queena Esther completing the order of finish.
