Pure Sensation Wins Parx Dash at Parx Racing

The $200,000 G3 Parx Dash Stakes took place Saturday, July 8 at Parx Racing in Bensalem, Pennsylvania. Horses three years old and upward "dashed" five furlongs on Parx's turf track. Defending champion and even-money race favorite Pure Sensation made quick work of the 11-horse field and posted the easy 5 3/4 length victory. A photo determined the other show spots as a jumble of horses crossed the line together. 11-1 shot Mongolian Saturday eventually claimed second with Bold Thunder getting in for third at 10-1 odds. Pool Winner was inches back in fourth while Platinum Prince, 7-2 second choice Richard's Boy, Vision Perfect, Starship Wildcat, Always Sunshine, Amelia's Wild Ride and Winning the Medal completed the order of finish.
