Cornhusker Handicap at Prairie Meadows Results

Las Vegas, NV - The main event on the Prairie Meadows schedule on Saturday, June 29 was the $300,000 Grade 3 Cornhusker Handicap. Favorite in the field of six, Prayer for Relief, second in his only two starts this year finally broke through with a 1 3/4 length win - his first victory since 2011. Taptowne easily finished second, 5 1/4 lengths ahead of early leader Silver Max in third. Nicklaus Way, Tiz Ready, and Red Lead completed the order of finish.
