San Carlos Stakes at Santa Anita Park Results
Santa Anita Park hosted the Grade 2 $200,000 San Carlos Stakes for older horses on Saturday. Sahara Sky posted his second straight Grade 2 win by three quarters of a length at 6-1 odds. Capital Account got up for second just before the wire edging out Comma to the Top who finished third. Comma to the Top, ridden by Edwin Maldonado, was 2 1/4 lengths clear of fourth place Drill, who was followed by Justin Phillip, Midnight Transfer, 19-10 favorite The Lumber Guy, and Canonize.
